this is a story about spanish settlers who travel through texas. the settlers are helped by the natives mostly because the natives were afraid of the spanish though. the natives showed the spanish what to plant for food, who would help them and who wouldn’t, and how to hunt.

this story is about the treaty the iraquois tribes sighned for peace. the story tells the laws set in place for the tribes to follow and what happens if a tribe or tribe memmber breaks a law./ the story also tells who came up with the laws.

This is another native american creation story. in this story people are created from wind and buckskins and corn. the gods create people bye putting the buckskins over the corn and letting the wind blow. when the buckskins are removed a man and a woman are in place of the corn.

this story is another creation story by the natives. in this story the chief’s daughter goes to the earth and is lost and lives with grizzly bears. the bears could walk and talk. the bears refuse to let the daughter go because they are so prowd of the new creature they had discovered. when the chief finnaly is told wher to find his daughter is he goes and takes the grizzlees ability to talk and walk on two feet.

this story is a native american american creation story. it is also about small creatures doing big things. in the story a native american chief’s wife fell from the heveans and was saved by swans. The animals of the sky and water try to bring up earth from below the ocean for the wife to stand on, but they could not go downfar enough. then a musscrat said that she would succees or die trying. after shw had secceeded she put the earth on a turtles back.

the second part of the book was about Richie and his squad making friends with the villagers in the jungle. it was also about the squad dealling with death. the luetenint of the squad is killed and the squad gets a replacement. then the squad gets a new sargent because their arginal one finishes his tour.

the third part of the book was about richie and his squad ajusting to new leaders and trying to survive on patrol. richie’s captain wanted to get promoted so he sent hs squads out on as many patrols as possable. the squad has to go on one patrol and richie and his friend piewee get seperated from the squad and have to spend the night in the jungle.

For my book read Fallen Angels. The first part of the book was about the main charictor, Richie. He enlisted in the army during the Vietnam War. Richie did this because he was not happy with hs life in Harlem. Richie went to Vietnam in 1968. the first part of the book is about Richie meeting and getting to kow the men in his squad. He is also ajusting to life in vietnam.

Christipher Columbus came to this country in hopes of finding gold. He had come to this land for the Spanish to expolre it. Columbus kept a journal for the king and queen so they could see what the land was like. Columbus described the land, animals, and people that were here in the journal. Columbus described the land as being beautifal. This as important because no one knew what it looked like here. Columbus also described a snake hunt him and his men went on. They killed the snake with their sords and kept the skin for the King. Columbus and his men maid friends with the natives that lived here. They traded and then Columbus ent back to Spain.
